Binni Deopa
I'm a UI/UX designer with 15 years of experience, 8 years specifically in UX.
Academic side, I have done my bachelors in commerce and masters in Human Resource and 6 years back I decided to do a UX program from Southern Methodist University, Dallas to enhance my UX skills as I wanted to explore more of UX. On the professional front, I have number of years experience leading UX projects that involved user and business research, user interviews, journey flows, empathy mapping, usability testing and I have hands on experience on various design tools like Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator and for wireframes I have used Balsamiq. While leading the projects I have got great experience with stakeholders, product owners and tech leads to understand the requirements and presenting and demoing design solutions to them.

My design process typically starts with understanding user goals and needs and business objectives through the research and analysis. Research includes getting to know the targeted audience and with that create user personas, do empathy mapping and user journey flows to empathize with user experiences. And when I do all this I keep stakeholders and product owners in loop so we all are on the same page. From there, I move on to ideation, sketching, and wire-framing to explore various design solutions. Once I have a good idea and a set of low fidelity designs, I move on to do prototyping, and then on those prototypes I conduct usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on the design until it meets user needs and business goals.
